As in previous years, we have once again been able to invite a distinguished personality from the world of science and business to our conference: Dr. Irving Weissman, Professor of Pathology and Developmental Biology at Stanford University, where he serves as the Director of the Stanford Institute of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine.
Professor Weissman was the first scientist to identify and isolate Stem Cells in any species, and his research has helped lay the foundations for a revolution in medicine.
